YOGA RETREAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Retreat Pricing

The organizer believes in fair pricing for all retreat attendees. All prices are per person and are set in advance of the retreat start date. You can find pricing on the website. Prices include retreat costs only; they do not include airfare to and from the retreat and other extras specified on the website. The organizer may not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel.

2. Retreat Payment

Payment can be made by bank transfer or through booking agents linked through their website.  Please do not submit credit card information over email.

3. Strict Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your retreat, please note we do not refund deposits or payments made towards the retreat. However, you are welcome to gift your booking to a friend. If you find someone to take your place, you can handle financial arrangements with the new guest (similar to selling tickets for a regular event to a friend that will take your place). Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for ANY reason, including weather, natural disaster, terrorism, civil unrest, virus, health changes, personal emergencies or otherwise. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. This is why trip insurance is SO important - you can purchase full coverage.

4. Cancellation by us
In the rare case of retreat cancellation, we will offer a full refund of your payment.  We are not responsible for any expenses or damages incurred as a result of retreat cancellation including preparation costs, airline tickets, travel documents or other expenses. We reserve the right to cancel any retreat prior to departure in the event that there are too few people booked, in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to us. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damages (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport and vaccination charges, or departure, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes). It is therefore recommended to wait to pay for airline tickets (and/or rental car, if desired) until a minimum number of participants have registered. When the minimum has been reached, participants will be notified promptly by email.

5. Booking
(a) Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist until the organizer has received your completed registration form as well as a deposit in the amount of half of the total price of your chosen accommodation.
(b) By completing the registration form and / or paying the deposit, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions as stated in this document, and confirms having truthfully answered all of the questions on the registration form.

6. Transfer Policy

You may not transfer your reservation from one retreat to another.

7. Privacy Policy:
We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties. Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the service you requested.

8. Payment
(a) The price is the exact amount to be received by us in British Pound Sterling.
(b) If you are paying in two installments, then the initial payment of half of the total amount due must be paid within one week of receiving the invoice from the organizer. The remaining amount due must be paid on or before 1st May 2020. This will allow the organizer to ensure that our group’s accommodation is secured.

9. Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to obtain individual trip insurance for international retreats. If you choose to buy insurance we suggest that your travel insurance covers the activity of this retreat as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and all the usual risks. You should bring the policy with you in case of an emergency. Should you need to cancel for any reason not covered by the policy (family or work commitments, pre-existing medical conditions, pregnancy, etc.), investing in an all-inclusive insurance policy will reimburse you for a percentage of the prepaid, forfeited, non-refundable payments or deposits. This includes your airfare and any additional payments, if applicable.

10. Your Health
(a) It is your responsibility to let the organizer know if you have any injuries and to be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability during the retreat. If you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the retreat, then you must cease immediately.
(b) It is also your responsibility to consult a doctor with an understanding of yoga to check that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga classes and other physical activities that you may choose to do while on the retreat.
(c) Please advise us of any mental or physical health conditions and dietary requirements before you book. If you have health conditions and dietary requirements that may be affected by the activities offered on the retreat, the organizer reserves the right to advise you to discontinue and in the interests of your wellbeing, or others, we may decline your stay at the retreat.
(d) While all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, we are situated in the countryside where the land is uneven and we shall not be responsible for any injuries caused by uneven terrain.
(e) Women who are 12 to 28 weeks pregnant should provide a letter from their health practitioner specifying that they are fit to travel and able to engage in the activities that we provide. We would prefer pregnant women to have done a little yoga before they arrive.

11. Amendments by us
Occasionally, changes may have to be made (e.g., yoga instructor, class times or other arrangements), which we reserve the right to do at any time. If your accommodation has to be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar rating. If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure.

12. Our liability to you

Throughout the retreat, participants are responsible for their own safety.
(a) We accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreat is supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.
(b) Organizer will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (ie: late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, or cancellations for any reason.) No refunds will be given for “no shows” or days not used resulting from the above aforementioned.
(c) We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. Yoga classes are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions, which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat.
(d) The organizer reserves the right to take a substitute yoga instructor to the yoga retreat in the event that the teacher is unable to attend due to illness or extenuating circumstances beyond her control.
(e) The organizer reserves the right to exclude persons from the retreat without giving reasons. If an amount has already been paid by the participant, the amount paid will be refunded by the organizer.

13.  Roommate Assignments

Retreat Rates are per person. Double or otherwise advertised shared rooms require shared occupancy for the specified room rate. If you book a shared room without specified roommate(s), we will do our very best to match you with your desired room type and price point. In the event we can’t find you a roommate for your first choice, we will present you with different rooming options.

14. Group Bookings
Where a booking is made on behalf of several individuals the booking is conditional on the person(s) paying having authorization from all the individuals named on the booking form to enter into this contract. The terms of this contract will apply to each member of the group as though they had paid for their own retreat individually and directly to us.

15. No Liability for possessions
(a) It is your responsibility to ensure that your personal possessions are kept safe at all times. This includes rental cars or other hired equipment. We are not liable for loss of or damage to your personal property.

16. Complaints
If you have a problem during your retreat, please inform the organizer immediately and we will endeavor to assist you in any way we can. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the individual behavior of any group member or other guest sharing your accommodation.

17. Food Allergies and Allergies Notification, Acknowledgement, and Release of Liability

An environment free of allergens, including but not limited to food allergens, CANNOT be guaranteed on the retreat. Therefore, the released parties cannot guarantee that any particular food product is free of all traces of any particular allergen, that consumption of a food product will not result in some form of allergic reaction, or that the participant will not come into contact with any allergens while in attendance on the retreat. The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that i) she/he is aware of such risks and that participation in the event will expose the participant to food, activities and persons that may result in exposure to allergens and injury and, in that regard and assuming such risks, the undersigned hereby fully releases and discharges the Released Parties from any and all liability and/or responsibility to the participant, the undersigned, or any third party in relation to the above.

Media is defined as photography, video, written or verbal testimonial, or any other form of capturing likeness. For valuable consideration received, I grant to the organizer the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any captured media that he/he has taken or may take of me or in which I may be included with others, to use, reuse, publish, and republish in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other material, in any and all publishing platforms now or hereafter known, including the Internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, specifically including illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade, without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection with any use if she/he so chooses. I release and discharge the organizer from any and all claims and demands that may arise out of or in connection with the use of the media, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy.

19. Release and Waiver of Liability

I acknowledge the enjoyment and challenge I receive from the activities of this retreat and the wilderness and natural outdoor experience, its isolation and the opportunity to experience wildlife and nature in a natural surrounding and state, and emotional experiences resulting from personal growth exploration, this is my reason for participating in this retreat, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities and freely waive any and all legal rights that I may have against the releasees.

By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the website I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on this retreat.
